WASHINGTON (Reuters) – White House economic adviser Brian Deese said on Monday he expects lawmakers to resolve issues with the Democrats’ welfare spending bill this week and vote on the action in the US House of Representatives next week.

“We will move this process forward,” Deese, director of the National Economic Council, told CNBC in an interview.
